It’s Our Birthday! Nova Staffing Turns 20

It’s our birthday! This year marks the 20th anniversary of Nova Staffing and the 5th anniversary of Nova Driving Services!

Nova Staffing was established in 2000 with one goal in mind- to add value to our customers by helping companies make money, save money, save time, and adopt better recruiting and hiring processes to find the best candidates. Over the last two decades, our company has grown tremendously. We now have four offices across the Greater Toronto Area and a team of HR experts with over 200 years of combined industry experience.

Over the past 20 years, our company has helped businesses in manufacturing, food and beverage, transportation, logistics and supply chain, construction, consumer goods, and farming, among other industries, and launched Nova Driver Services in 2015 to help transportation companies fulfill driver positions.

Recently, our company was incredibly honored to have been named on The Globe and Mail’s second-annual ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies 2020. Canada’s Top Growing Companies ranks Canadian companies on three-year revenue growth. Nova Staffing Inc. earned its spot with a three-year growth of 220%.

“Our continued growth over the years, and our recent fast growth to be included in the ROB Magazine’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, has always been client-focused. There are many HR, Employment, or Staffing companies in Canada so in order to do the best work for our clients, we felt we should offer a one-stop shopping experience for them by being able to perform Professional Search, provide Temporary workers in both their office and industrial sides, adding to staff their off-site personnel in the form of their Driver fleet, and providing A La Carte recruiting and HR services including Health and Safety Compliance.

“Over the past 5 years, we have: 2015 – created Nova Driver Services providing AZ, DZ, G and more drivers to our clients and acquired Bridge Staffing; 2016 – acquired Lyr Staffing; 2017 – acquired Dynamic Employment Solutions; 2018 – acquired Power Personnel (Etobicoke); and 2019 – acquired Power Personnel (Orangeville).

“Our pursuit of excellence necessitates having the best people internally, otherwise the best-laid plans do not come to fruition. We wouldn’t be where we are without our amazing team. I’m looking forward to the next 20 years to see where we get to.”- President of Nova Staffing, Steve Taylor.

We’re thrilled with our growth and all we’ve accomplished at Nova Staffing in the past 20 years. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
